A very smart and well modelled companion for the Vanwall - you cannot race
just one car can you? With two great British racing cars you can have your very
own carpet Grand Prix.
Corgi released two new racing
cars in 1958. The Lotus XI in July and this BRM in December. The BRM was updated
in 1961 when it was given suspension and a new coat of jade green paint, the
pre-suspension version was always green, British Racing Green according to van
Cleemput and also available in pale green according to Ramsay - although this
may be confusing it with the later S model. The seat can be pale yellow or
silver and it can have racing number 1, 3 or 7. These early cars did not have a
driver, he was added for the S version in 1961. |
