Why is this a 'Machinery Carrier' and the other low loader called 'Low Loader'. They are both low loaders. I think I prefer this one. The rear wheels unclip and the ramps drop down making an easy slope to load tracked vehicles like the Priestman Cub which was to come along a few years later.
This is an early flowering of Corgi's engineering excellence. The articulated coupling with its spring clip, the removable and very realistic rear wheels and the very nice winch with its worm drive. Mine has typically lost the spring grab which pulled the machines on to the load bed, but the rest of the model is very nice indeed. I can replace the grab easily.
