The one below with the wire towbar was the original, the cast towbar came out at the end of 1962. Although the cast towbar is more realistic the wire one works better because of its vertical articulation. There are lots of accessory stickers here, although not necessarily used as designed, still they show that once upon a time someone loved and played with this toy.
They used the same back body as was used for the Commer & ERF Platform lorries and were therefore compatible with the Corgi Cargoes as shown here with the cement bag load.
