BEDFORD UTILECON FIRE TENDER

There is a confusing mass of these Bedford CA fire vans, but I think I've got my head round it. There are three 'Fire Engines'. The green one (405) is the original casting (split screen, smooth roof) without a friction motor. This is a contemporary of 405 in red with 'Fire Dept' logos (405M) which is the same casting with a friction motor. No 423 is the later casting (one piece windscreen & moulded roof) in red with 'Fire Dept' logos and no friction motor.

My model is quite worn - but it does still have a ladder - not sure if it's original though
